Technology · A Modern Tax Practice

Why hire a tax attorney who works like it's 2026?

Because you're paying for judgment, not keystrokes.Tax resolution is drowning in paperwork — transcripts, notices, financial statements, deadlines. I built my practice so software carries that load and AI accelerates the rest, with a licensed attorney making every decision that matters.

Movement on your IRS account surfaces as an alert, not a surprise

The Stack

What runs on software. What runs on me.

Six pieces of the practice are systematized. None of them replaces legal judgment — they clear the way for it.

Transcripts

Electronic transcript access

Once you sign Form 2848, I pull your complete IRS account electronically and keep monitoring it. New balances, notices, and collection actions show up as alerts on my desk — often before the letter reaches your mailbox.

Notices

Deadline automation

Every IRS notice type carries its own response window, and blowing one can cost you appeal rights. Each notice in your case is identified and its deadline calendared with reminders the day it arrives. Nothing rides on a sticky note.

AI-Assisted

Drafting & analysis

AI accelerates first drafts, organizes financial records, and cross-checks numbers across a filing package. I review, revise, and sign everything — the same way a partner reviews an associate's draft, minus the associate's billable hours.

Secure Portal

Digital intake

Financial disclosure is the heart of every resolution. You upload documents through an encrypted portal and answer structured questions once — and that data flows into your Form 433 instead of being retyped from a fax.

Modeling

Resolution comparison

Your financials get run through the IRS's own national and local standards, and I model an Offer, an installment agreement, and CNC status side by side. You see the realistic outcomes before choosing a path — not after.

E-Sign

Signatures without stamps

Powers of attorney, fee agreements, and filings are signed electronically wherever the IRS permits. Your case starts moving the day we talk, not the week the mail clears.

The Fine Print, In Plain English

What AI does — and what it will never do.

It never decides. Which resolution to pursue, what to disclose, how to argue your case — those are attorney judgments, and they're mine alone.

It never files. Every document that goes to the IRS is reviewed and signed by me, personally, as your counsel of record.

It never compromises confidentiality. Your information stays inside encrypted, access-controlled systems under the same attorney-client privilege as everything else in your file. No client data trains anyone's public model.

What it does do is erase the routine hours a traditional firm bills at attorney rates. That efficiency is exactly why I can publish flat fees and keep them where they are.

Our Secure Platform

Your tax file is the most sensitive document you own. Here’s exactly where it lives.

This practice runs its client intake and case files on Clio, the leading secure legal practice platform. That architecture determines — and limits — where your information can go. This website stores nothing about you: the secure intake form sends your answers directly from your browser to the firm’s encrypted Clio system, and there is no database here for an attacker to steal.

WHERE DATA LIVES

The firm’s secure Clio system

Your evaluation, documents, and case file are encrypted in transit and at rest on Clio’s platform — one professionally-defended system, not scattered across email inboxes and websites.

WHO CAN SEE IT

Only who you consent to

Your information is released to this practice only after you sign a written consent under Internal Revenue Code §7216 — the federal law governing tax information disclosure. You can revoke it at any time.

HOW IT’S ACCESSED

An audited dashboard

Attorney Clarke reviews your file inside a dashboard that requires multi-factor authentication and logs every access. Case notifications sent by email contain no personal details — ever.

Where Your Information Goes

Your tax file never touches this website — here’s its actual path

STEP 1 — EVALUATE

You complete the secure intake form

A guided questionnaire about your tax debt, filed directly into the firm’s secure case system — encrypted in transit and at rest, with your written consent controlling who sees it.

STEP 2 — NOTIFY

The firm gets a no-data alert

Notifications carry only case type, balance band, and a file ID. No name, no SSN, no documents — nothing sensitive ever travels by email.

STEP 3 — REVIEW

Your case is reviewed before you meet

Attorney Clarke reviews your full evaluation inside the audited dashboard before your consultation — so the first meeting starts with analysis, not paperwork.

Does the platform decide my case strategy?
No. Your engagement is with the Law Office of Peter J. Clarke, PLLC, an independent firm. All legal judgment, advice, and IRS representation come from Attorney Clarke — the platform is infrastructure, not the practitioner.
What exactly does the §7216 consent cover?
It authorizes disclosure of the specific case information you provided to the specific professional named in the consent, for the purpose of evaluating and handling your case. It is not a blanket release, it doesn’t permit marketing use, and revoking it stops future disclosure.
Why not just email my documents?
Email is where tax data breaches happen — it’s unencrypted at rest, forwarded easily, and retained forever. This practice will never ask you to email a tax return, SSN, or financial statement; everything moves through the secure portal.
